I have spent 20+ years in multi-unit retail — managing markets across the United States and building the operating systems behind them. Staffing, inventory, service standards, and the unglamorous discipline of making a location run the same way on a Tuesday in February as it does on opening day.
Today I run FERAL, a multi-location used outdoor gear business here in West Michigan with a national e-commerce operation attached. Physical stores and online running as one machine. I know what it costs to keep inventory moving, what a stockout does to a location, and how quickly an unattended thing in your building becomes somebody’s problem if nobody owns it.
BotBox came out of that. Vending is a retail operations problem wearing a hardware costume. The machines that fail are the ones nobody services on a real schedule, stocked with whatever the warehouse had, in buildings where the operator never comes back. That is a discipline problem, and discipline is the part I am good at.

Service is a system, not a favor
Restock schedules driven by real sell-through, not by whenever someone remembers. That is how a multi-location retail business has to run, and it is how this runs.

One person is accountable

Grand Rapids based, servicing a 30-mile radius. That limit is deliberate. A route you can actually drive is a route that actually gets serviced.
BotBox is new. Here is what that means.
No customer list to point at yet, and no reviews. Pretending otherwise would be the first thing I would have to walk back.
What you get instead is an operator with a twenty-year record in a harder business, a machine that removes the most common failure mode in vending, and an arrangement that costs you nothing and ends whenever you want it to. If the machine is not worth the floor space, tell me and I will come get it.
